STATE OF THE ART CARE FOR COUNTRY BUBS

The hard work of the Humpty Dumpty Foundation was recognised today at Tamworth Base Hospital.

The Foundation is responsible for three state-of-the-art newborn resuscitation cots at Tamworth, Manilla and Gunnedah Hospitals.

Each cot costs around $22,000 and allows midwives and doctors to provide the best care possible to newborns.

“It allows us to monitor, keep the babies warm, provide oxygen, provide suction and just allow us to provide care and careful observation.”

The foundation has worked closely with the State Government to roll out several cots to rural hospitals.
