The records continue to be broken when it comes to Covid-19 infections in the Northern Health District.
In the latest reporting period there was 306 new cases, more than half of those were in Byron Bay.
There were 63 new infections in the Tweed, 50 in Ballina, 24 in Lismore, nine in the Clarence Valley, five in Richmond Valley and three in Kyogle.
18 people are being cared for in hospital, three of those are in ICU.
