The Moree LGA is back in the double digits for daily COVID cases, recording 13 new cases overnight, with one of these in Boggabilla.
Dr David Durrheim says the families impacted by the virus in this area are doing well to isolate and get tested.
He says there were also positive sewage detections in Uralla and Narrabri.
There were another three cases recorded in Tamworth to 8pm last night.
