CENTRAL COAST MAN CHARGED WITH MURDER

A Central Coast man has been charged with murder, following the death of 49-year-old Warwick Hunter in Sydney’s west last year.

Just before 10.30pm on November 15, emergency services were called to Budgeree Road at Toongabbie, and found a man on the footpath with multiple stab wounds.

Despite the efforts of emergency services and members of the public, the man died at the scene.

Following extensive inquiries by the Homicide Squad and a public appeal for information, a 29-year-old man was arrested at Lake Munmorah.

He was taken to Wyong Police Station, where he was charged with murder and a string of other offences.

The man was refused bail to appear at Wyong Local Court on November 10.
