NEW UNIVERSITY PROGRAM AIMS TO BUILD RESILIENCE FOLLOWING BUSHFIRES

A University of New England project is underway to build resilience after climate change disasters.
The Scorched Program’s first step is to come up with ideas on how to overcome challenges of bushfires in particular.
These could also be turned into business ventures.
The SMART Region Incubator project was developed following the Black Summer bushfires.
People between the ages of 15 and 40 are encouraged to get involved.
