Three people have been seriously injured in a crash in the Hunter Valley.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to the New England Highway at Wingen, north of Scone, following reports of a crash between a car and truck at around 10am.
The chopper has taken a 64-year-old woman to Tamworth Base Hospital with neck and chest injuries, while two other people are being transported by Ambulance.
Meanwhile the Golden Highway is also closed at Jerry Plains due to a truck crash.
The tanker, which was carrying hazardous materials, tipped on to its side just after 10am.
Traffic diversions are in place.
