HOFFMAN RE-SIGNS WITH HOME CLUB
Newcastle-born defender Jason Hoffman has re-signed with his local club, agreeing to play for the Jets for another two years.
The 27-year-old began his A-League career with the club in 2008, before joining Melbourne City for a five-year stint.
Hoffman was one of coach Scott Miller’s first signings midway through last year, and says he’s proud to extend his time with his home team.
“It’s a great time to be at the Newcastle Jets as the club continues to move in the right direction under Scott’s leadership,” he said.
“I am a Newcastle boy and I would love nothing more than to help the club feature at the top end of the A-League again.”
Last week the Jets also announced former Danish international Morten Nordstrand on a one-season contract.
