Police have charged a 43-year-old man with multiple child sex offences in Newcastle.
The arrest, last month, follows investigations by Strike Force Boyne, a squad formed to look into child sexual assault occurring in the early 2000s to present.
The man was charged with a number of offences including two counts of aggravated sexual assault and three counts of using a child for pornographic purposes.
He was given strict conditional bail to appear at Newcastle Local court in January.
