CALROSSY STAFF MAKE A SPLASH FOR A GOOD CAUSE

Three Tamworth teachers made a splash today, in support of a colleague.

Calrossy’s Maree Keating will participate in the city’s annual ‘Stars Dance for Cancer’ event this weekend.

As one last fundraiser, she challenged Principal David Smith and fellow teachers Libby Blinman and Bart Leach to jump in the pool, fully clothed.

And, they did so… much to the delight of onlooking students, who collectively donated hundreds of dollars to make it happen.

“It’s really brought us together again, as a community and it’s given us something to focus on. It really is for a great cause.”

Each participant earning themselves a medal for their efforts… While Mrs Keating fundraising has passed $10,000.
