REBATE SCHEME EXTENDED FOR QUADBIKE SAFETY

A rebate scheme has been extended to improve quadbike safety on farms.

The New South Wales Government has committed an additional $3.7-million to the scheme, for the purchase of rollbars.

From October, all new and used quadbikes will be required to have rollbars correctly installed.

The scheme will also help farmers to purchase other vital safety equipment, including helmets and drones.

Free training is also available.
