Newcastle police are calling for information that may help with an investigation into an alleged sexual assault in Hamilton, early on Sunday morning.
A 19 year-old-woman has told police she left a taxi in Lindsay street about 1am and soon after was accosted by two men who dragged her into Gregson Park and assaulted her.
The woman was found by a resident who called police and the victim was taken to John Hunter hospital.
Her attackers are described as aboriginal and aged in their 40s.
