A BLOOMING START TO TAREE ORCHID GRAND DISPLAY

It was a blooming good start for day one of the Manning River Orchid Society grand display.

Visitors were treated to a wide range of colourful orchids in the society’s first public show since 2019.

“A lot of South American cattleyas, laelias, a lot of cymbidiums which everyone’s mum and dad has got one of and some of the Australian natives and generally a good variety all the way around,” Manning River Orchid Society president Terry Russ said.

The display at the Taree Uniting Church hall closes at noon tomorrow.
