SNOW SETTLES IN OVER AUSSIE ARK

Aussie Ark, in the heart of the Barrington Tops has been transformed into a winter wonderland.

The snow encouraging some of Australia’s most endangered species to come out and explore.

“Despite the snow our dedicated team are out there working hard. We all think it’s a treat to see our animals out exploring their surroundings when dumped in snow,” explains Aussie Ark’s President Tim Faulkner.

The Tasmanian devils are feeling right at home, with the first blanket of snow occurring right in the midst of marsupials’ breeding season.

First pouch checks will occur in just a few weeks.

The organisation has so far confirmed nine Tasmanian devil joeys in their wild sanctuary, with endangered Eastern quolls to be checked in the coming weeks.
