The cold air mass will leave its mark of over the weekend with some extremely cold nights on the way with slightly milder days thanks to increased sunshine inland.

The low will now begin to move away to the south which will clear the precipitation completely from the region tomorrow.

We have some very cold, frosty nights on the way but the days will become slightly warmer as we head into a fine weekend.

A freezing start for many inland, especially along the ranges.
