ROAD CLOSURES AND FLOODING A METRE DEEP AFTER WATER MAIN BURST AT CARDIFF

It was a soggy start to the weekend in Lake Macquarie, with a burst water main causing extensive flooding on a main road.

While work is underway to fix the problem, Hunter Water says the repairs are likely to take several days.
