KNITTING NANNAS PROTESTED TODAY AHEAD OF THE FEDERAL BUDGET RELEASE

The Knitting Nannas made their return to Tamworth today, making themselves comfortable outside New England MP Barnaby Joyce’s office.

With their signature colours and knitting needles, the women want the National Party to push Climate Change as a priority ahead of the Federal Budget.

“The government wants a gas lead recovery and a gas lead recovery is not what Australia needs. What we need is a renewable-led recovery.”
