The bushfire danger period has arrived, and today Fire and Rescue News South Wales conducted one of its biggest hazard reduction burns in Lake Macquarie.
Assisted by the Rural Fire Service, the burn was vital to reducing fuel loads in a section of crown land in Rathmines.
