GLEN INNES INCLUDED IN BORDER BUBBLE BUT INVERELL MISSES OUT

Glen Innes residents have now been included in the Sunshine State’s border bubble.

Queensland Premier Anastasia Palaszcuk today granting them free access to Queensland from October 1.

However, residents in the Inverell LGA are still locked out.

“So it’s really good news for Glen Innes and Ballina and Byron and all the others but there’s a yawning gap now in the border bubble where you’ve got Inverell, Warialda and Bingara which all border with Queensland which still aren’t able to cross the border.”
