Woy Woy man, Jarrod James has pleaded guilty to deliberately lighting a fire in Brisbane Water National Park.
The blaze charred 150 square metres of bushland off Woy Woy road in the early hours of August 22.
The 27-year-old was arrested at the scene within minutes and was found covered in soot with a lighter.
James remains on bail and will front Gosford Local Court in October for sentencing.
