Catherine Hill Bay’s historic jetty remains on track for demolition, after owner LakeCoal today confirmed it’s still seeking approval from the state government.
The dilapidated structure was offered to Lake Macquarie Council back in 2010, but deemed too expensive to maintain.
The 240-metre long pier was built in 1888.
