Kyogle’s James McPaul has claimed two silver medals at the Australian Junior Athletics Championships in Perth.
The 16-year-old, placing second in the 400-metre sprint and relay.
Impressively, McPaul stepped up an age group in both events.
He’ll now represent Australia at the World Under 20 Championships in Poland.
