Tamworth’s proposed multi-million dollar youth centre destined for Coledale is one step closer to becoming a reality.
Tamworth Regional Council last night gave the project the go-ahead.
The $2.5-million centre will be aimed at young people aged 12 to 25.
“It’ll be a car park and be a youth hall, there’ll be offices there, there’ll be an auditorium with a stage, there’ll be food serveries and there’ll be some consulting rooms. So, it’ll be a very good centre.”
The city’s existing youth facility will relocate and be incorporated within the new Coledale centre.
