A Hunter Valley mother had a shock last night, when the semi trailer she and her young family were driving next to suddenly exploded into flames.
“We were sitting at the traffic lights and about to turn right and the truck was beside me, we’ve gone to go and I heard a big bang.”
A few minutes later, the fire brigade arrived on scene to extinguish the blaze, which had taken hold on the back half of the trailer.
Fortunately no one was hurt.
