Having gone into the final round with a four shot lead; the Gold Coaster eventually defeated reigning masters champion Peter Senior in a playoff to claim victory after both finished regulation play, one shot under.
Rodger Davis, who’d also been in contention, eventually finished third after shooting par.
Power walks away from the championship, having collected 40,000 in prize money.
