Tamworth’s Headspace branch is among more than 40 centres across the country to share in more than $24-million worth of Federal funding.
The cash is aimed at reducing wait times – fast-tracking access to mental health services for young people aged 12 to 25.
Individual centres are expected to receive up to $2-million each, to improve their counselling and peer support facilities.
