The new public school slated for construction at Lake Cathie is a step closer, with the Development Application lodged with Port Macquarie-Hastings Council this week.
The school is set to be built on land between Lake Cathie and Bonny Hills on the eastern side of Ocean Drive, and will house 10 classrooms.
“It’s something that this community has worked extremely hard for, for literally decades and so to get to this point and know that the new school is well on its way is a really momentous occasion.”
The school should be up and running for term one in 2015.
