The faithful were rewarded with a superb performance by the Newcastle Jets with an emphatic 2-1 win over second-place Perth Glory.

Nikolai Topor-Stanley cracked a missile from 30 metres out with one of the best goals of the season. A penalty goal to Glory evened the ledger with the score one-all at half time.

The Jets looked the dominating team in the second half and with 15 minutes to go Roy O’Donovan found the back of the net. The final score was 2-1 and there were a lot of Jets fans leaving McDonald Jones Stadium with a big smile on their face.
