NORTHERN NSW FOOTBALL LOOKING TO BREAK REGISTRATION RECORDS

At a grassroots level, Northern New South Wales Football is aiming to register more players than ever this year.

Registration opened today online and at local clubs, like here at Wallsend.

66,477 players were registered across Northern NSW last year – this year the organisation’s aiming to attract even more.

“We’re always looking to increase participation not only players but also referees …I think most people involved in the game know that we don’t have enough referees so we’re always looking to increase those numbers but also coaches and volunteers and people wanting to help the game grow. We’re looking for them to get involved with and register so we can provide them with resources and education and training and help them in their roles as well”
