Police are appealing for public assistance, after a hit and run at Brunswick Heads over night.
A 23-year-old man was struck by a ute on the Old Pacific Highway near the intersection of Newberry Parade at around 11-o’clock.
The driver then drove off at high speed.
The man was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital with serious head injuries.
The vehicle has been described as a single cab utility, white in colour and possibly an early 90s model.
