HMRI researchers have started moving into their new state-of-the-art facility at John Hunter Hospital.
The $90-million building will house more than 300 people, working in fields such as mental health, vaccines and viruses.
The facility is designed to promote the translation of laboratory-based findings into improved clinical care, while also encouraging researchers to share their findings internally and globally.
