A 15-year-old girl has escaped after being grabbed on the arm by a stranger at West Wallsend, and dragged towards a car.
The teen was walking along Withers Street last night, when she was approached by a couple in a white Toyota Camry.
The man demanded the girl get into the car, but she managed to pull away and run to a friend’s house.
The male offender’s described as being in his 30’s, with dark hair and possibly a small goatee.
The female passenger is also believed to be in her 30’s, of Aboriginal appearance and has dark hair.
