GOSPERS MOUNTAIN FIRE DOWNGRADED TO ADVICE

The intensity of the Gospers Mountain Fire tracking east towards the Central Coast has quietened down today.

The Wollemi National Park blaze is still out of control, but has been downgraded to ‘Advice’ level this morning.

It’s still around 20 kilometres away from the region’s LGA border.

RFS Crews will be continuing to backburn overnight where conditions allow – ahead of tomorrow’s deteriorating conditions.

There will also be a total fire ban in place.
