Tamworth medicinal cannabis campaigner Lucy Haslam says she’s waiting to complete her highly anticipated book until the federal bill is debated in parliament.
It will be lodged by Greens Senator Richard Di Natale next month, and could see the drug become accessible across the country.
The book will tell the story of the Haslam’s journey to decriminalise medicinal cannabis, in the name of their late son Dan.
“The book’s pretty well done except for the ending, so I’m thinking the ending might play out in the next couple of months.”
Although the title hasn’t been finalised yet, she’s got a few ideas in mind.
“Probably Dan’s story, or you know depending on what happens federally maybe even Dan’s Law.”
