BUTTERFLY BALL IMPRESSES ALL

There was plenty of fun to be had at the Don’t Dis My Ability Butterfly Ball, held at the Armidale Ex-Services Memorial Club last night.

The event gave people of all ages and abilities the chance to be presented to society in front of family, friends and local dignitaries.

“This is to celebrate the international day of people with a disability and the butterfly theme was the coming out into society and the transformation.”

While it’s part of an annual national campaign, it was the first time the event has been held in Armidale.

There are now hopes it will become a tradition.

“Yeah I’ve had a good time at the ball tonight. It’s fantastic. Thank you very much.”
