GAV’S WEATHER | MORE DRY, HOT WEATHER TO COME

Cloud is streaking down across the Territory into Queensland and now, northern New South Wales.

Rain is falling under that cloud in Queensland. The deepening trough will continue to deliver moderate to heavy falls over Queensland for another 24 hours.

Another high is moving out over the Tasman, ensuring the northerly winds continue driving up the temperature in the coming days, worsening the bushfire situation. More smoke, haze and bad air quality is expected south of the fires.

Another warm to hot day with partly cloudy skies. North West to North East winds are on the coast this afternoon.
