Two people have been charged with causing grevious bodily harm after a man was assaulted in Surfers Paradise early this morning.
The 24-year-old from New South Wales was on Cavill Avenue just after three o’clock, when a man allegedly punched him in the head, causing him to fall to the ground.
He was then allegedly assaulted by a second man.
The victim has been taken to Gold Coast University Hospital.
The two accused are due to face Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow.
