A health warning has been issued, after an outbreak of gastro in the state’s north west.
Hunter New England Health says there have been several reported cases in schools and workplaces.
Symptoms include vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal cramps and muscle aches.
Residents are urged to avoid aged and childcare facilities and regularly wash their hands.
