600 BALES OF HAY DELIVERED TO MOREE FARMERS

It was a welcomed sight for Moree farmers today as 17 trucks rolled into the town, baring precious goods.

600 bales of hay were distributed to drought-stricken farmers throughout the district.

The hay was purchased with the remaining money from last year’s ‘Hay Mate’ drought relief concert – which raised $2.8-million through the “Buy A Bale” program.

It’s hoped the generous donation will keep struggling farmers afloat throughout the coming weeks.
