MORE DROPS TO BE SAVED AS GLEN INNES MOVES TO LEVEL 3 RESTRICTIONS

Glen Innes will be forced to put down the hose this week, when the town moves to level three water restrictions on Thursday.

Homeowners won’t be allowed to refill pools that hold over 2,000 litres.

Gardeners will be forced to use buckets, with residents also prohibited from using a hose to wash paved areas.

A close eye will also be kept on the watering of public grounds, including sporting fields.
