THREE VEHICLE CRASH ON CENTRAL COAST LEAVES WOMAN SERIOUSLY INJURED

A woman remains in a serious but stable condition at the John Hunter Hospital, following a three-vehicle crash at Bensville on Thursday afternoon.

A sedan collided with a truck on Empire Bay Drive, causing the truck to then collide with another car.

One of the drivers, a 70-year-old woman, was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition, after being freed from her car by Fire & Rescue NSW.

While the other two drivers were uninjured and taken to Gosford Hospital for mandatory testing.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash continue.
