An elderly man is recovering in hospital after he was struck by a car while riding his bike in the Hunter Valley on Monday afternoon.
The 70-year-old suffered multiple injuries in the crash at Muswellbrook, and was stabilised at the scene by paramedics and a medical team from the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
He was flown to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital for treatment.
