Two people have been charged with drug and child neglect offences, after they were arrested at Kempsey on Monday.
The pair, a 41-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman, were taken into custody after being stopped by officers while driving along Sea Street at around 10 o’clock in the morning.
A later search of a home on North Street at West Kempsey found prohibited drugs, believed to be heroin, along with prescription medication, jewellery and cash.
Both were refused bail.
