A man’s been charged after allegedly trying to break into cars in Gosford, while carrying a knife.
It’s understood an off-duty police officer confronted the thief, as he was allegedly stealing from a vehicle on Holden Street near the hospital.
The 52-year-old was taken to Gosford Police Station and charged with a string of theft and weapons offences.
He’ll front Gosford Local Court next month.
