Three people remain on the run after an elderly man was assaulted during a daylight break-in at Matcham.
Police say the trio left the 78-year-old resident with head injuries following the incident at a home on Matcham Road yesterday morning.
The masked offenders fled in a VT Holden Commodore.
The victim has since been released from hospital.
