TONY LONERGAN STEPS IN AS NEW ENGLAND GREENS CANDIDATE

The Greens have announced their candidate to take on Barnaby Joyce for the seat of New England.

Aberdeen farmer and scientist Tony Lonergan is one of five challengers for the seat and he’s promising to tackle climate change head-on.

He previously ran for the Upper Hunter seat in this year’s state election, losing to Nationals politician Michael Johnsen.
