School leaders put their heads together on Thursday, attending the Lake Macquarie Youth Forum.
Students from eight schools were given the opportunity to brainstorm, and develop a youth strategy for the city council, for the next three years.
“We were focusing on the key issues affecting young people in the community, so transport, education, health and wellbeing, as well as the facilities available for youth in the community.” – Hayley Johns, Lake Macquarie Youth Council.
