5-YEAR-OLD BOY RECOVERING AFTER BEING KICKED BY HORSE

A five-year-old boy is believed to be in a critical condition after he was kicked in the head by a horse yesterday afternoon.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was on its way to another job when it detoured to Moree to assist the boy.

He was stabilised at the scene by medical crews before being airlifted to Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in Brisbane.
