Coffs Harbour’s Racing Club is hoping to boost its profile by appointing its first racing manager.
Whoever takes on the role will work as a backup to the chief executive and will be tasked with creating a new format for feature meetings and events outside the Gold Cup and Pink Silks.
It’s hoped the race manager will attract more high profile horses, trainers and jockeys to race at the track.
Applications for the racing manager close on Monday.
