Just over a year after Fly Pelican announced direct flights from Newcastle to Adelaide the airline is axing the service.
Flights will continue until April 26, and Fly Pelican says it’s working with passengers who have booked after that date.
The airline will continue regular services to Dubbo, Canberra and Ballina from Newcastle.
The airport’s CEO said the route had strong passenger numbers.
