GAV’S WEATHER: LOTS OF CLOUD BUT LITTLE RAIN

There’s a lot of cloud today but little rain.

A lot of it was virga – which means the rain fell from the cloud but evaporated before it reached the ground.

A trough will once again make its way north allowing for a weak southerly to move in tomorrow.

Showers with a few storms will develop along the northern New South Wales ranges and adjacent coastal areas with the inland rain clearing.

Another cloud affected day with showers set to fall along the coast and northern ranges. Showers clearing inland.

The warm air will be replaced with cooler conditions on Friday behind the system.
